DETAILS ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Springs, Gauteng

Element Six is offering an apprenticeship to candidates interested in entering the engineering sector. This Apprenticeship programme specialises in the Fitter, Electrician and Instrumentation trades; and the successful candidate will be contracted as an apprentice through the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Related Services Seta (MESETA) for the duration of the programme.
 

The successful candidate will be expected to support multi-disciplinary teams as well as ensure HSE throughout all operations. Element Six will also provide the successful candidate with remuneration in accordance with SEIFSA Main Agreement Apprenticeship pay scales.
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed Technical Grade 12 or Matric or N3 with Mathematics, Technical Drawing, and Trade Theory as subjects
  • Must successfully complete a set of technical test batteries
  • Must have an understanding of environmental and safety standards
  • Must promote and live the Element Six values
  • Must follow all of the company's department and health procedures
  • Must follow all health and safety protocols
  • Must be a problem solver
  • Must be an analytical thinker
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
