DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Pragma is offering an internship position in their Africa Coastal Region department. Pragma is looking for individuals in the middle of completing their Engineering qualification. This application is extended and encouraged to individuals from diverse backgrounds and living with disabilities.
During this programme, the intern will gain realistic engineering experience in this prosperous company. Students will only be accepted if they have a letter that is validated by their educational institution stating that practical work experience is needed to help them obtain their qualifications.

Location: East London, Eastern Cape

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Assisting all team requirements
  • Supporting all team requirements
  • Performing computer application duties
  • Help in problem-solving by aiding engineers with clients
  • Provide support to engineers
  • Performing data analysis
  • Presenting findings
  • Assisting clients with regular improvement projects

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Education requirement: must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution, obtaining a Degree in Engineering
  • Must be a student that, in order to obtain the above qualification, is in need of in-service training
  • Must have experience in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Must be an individual from a diverse background (advantageous)
  • Must be an individual living with disabilities (advantageous)
  • Must be an excellent communicator
  • Must have interpersonal skills
  • Must have problem-solving capabilities
  • Must be willing to meet deadlines
  • Must be goal and deadline orientated
  • Must be willing to learn and add value to the appointed department
  • Must be willing to work in the business unit across all functional groups
  • Must attend meetings held by the company and all networking events
