DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Locations: Nkangala District Municipality, Mpumalanga
Number of Positions: 1

AECI Water is offering an internship opportunity for the role of In-Service Trainee.
During this programme, the candidate will ensure customer service remains at a level of excellence as well as drive on-site sales delivery. AECI aims to allow candidates and individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to gain the opportunity to learn new skills and reach their fullest potential- both personally and in their career.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Participate in compiling both monthly and bi-weekly reports
  • Interacting with customers, completing technical audits, and ensuring customers get excellent service by reviewing visits
  • Ensuring that you report to all prominent customer role players on designated sites
  • When instructed by Account, ensure that you take the necessary corrective actions
  • Ensuring that the performance of all the monitoring and chemical dosing equipment is monitored
  • Ensuring that housekeeping and deliveries are received at dosing stations
  • Completing on-site analysis, when requested to do so
  • Ensuring that you remain responsible for required calibrations and maintenance (Unblocking/cleaning of dosage lines, etc.)
  • Updating and placing Customer Service Excellence Files
  • Ensuring that inventory control (ordering, consumption, and forecasting), as well as chemical dosing, is in place and correct.
  • Assisting with technical problem solving and on-site troubleshooting

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric (NSC) with Mathematics and Science as subjects
  • Must have a Diploma/ Tertiary Qualification in a relevant technical field (advantageous)
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Must have a valid Drivers Licence
  • Must live within the Nkangala District Municipality
  • Must be willing to work over-time
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must have excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must have excellent time management skills
