DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Rhodes Food Group have an internship position for an Agricultural Graduate who is seeking practical training. A Diploma qualification and less than 1 year working experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing / other Agriculture, Fishing & Forestry sectors is required.
Location: Makhado (Louis Trichardt), Limpopo

Responsibilities of the role:
- Supervising of all necessary tools to enable all departments (which depend on the services of the Agricultural Department), to perform their activities and functions to standard
- Weighing and recording of products entering and exiting premises
- Grading of Fresh Products received
- Controlling and managing the issue, receipt and recording of Fresh Product stock, on the site and at suppliers (Preferable FIFO, pending quality of Fresh Product)
- Taking responsibility for general housekeeping and safety in all areas under the control of Fresh Product (including items under the control and supervision of Fresh Product)
- Managing wet and dry waste to ensure recycle targets are constantly improved
- Reviewing, updating and documenting Fresh Product practices and processes in order to accommodate workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows in accordance
- Maintaining and improving staffing levels in the Agricultural Department
- Conducting adhoc tasks as occasionally required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

- Education required: must have completed a Diploma qualification
- Working experience: must have less than 1 year working experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing / less than 1 year working experience in other Agriculture, Fishing & Forestry sectors
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have strong numerical skills
- Must be people orientated
