DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Kloof, Gauteng
Number of positions available: 4

Sibanye Stillwater is offering a “Learner Official A-Stream Career opportunity” to internal and external candidates. The programme is offered to candidates studying Mining Engineering on a full-time basis at the University of Johannesburg and will take place at Kloof Mining, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will first receive a bursary to aid their studies at the University of Johannesburg. They will then be offered a full-time learnership package which will expose them to practical work exposure within Sibanye Stillwater. This programme is offered to candidates from local communities and labour sending areas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12 with a minimum aggregate of 65% for Mathematics, English, and Physical Science
  • Must have a distinction in Mathematics and Physical Science (advantageous)
  • Must have University Acceptance with an APS of 23
  • Must be available
  • Must NOT have completed prior University studies
  • Must reside in Kloof Labour sending Area or local community
  • Must be medically fit
  • Must be able to pass the risk-based medical examination at Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
