Salary: R100 00 per annum
Saldanha Bay Municipality is offering an Engineering Surveyor internship opportunity to a candidate wanting to gain work experience within a professional environment.
Duties of the position:
- Furnish tacheometry plans to initiate planning
- Set out engineering works
- Maintain and upgrading survey marks
- As well as a variety of other surveys
- Manage site
- Assist clerk/ Draughtsman in drawing room
- Assist manager: Spatial and CAD with capturing of infrastructure
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed either of the following qualifications:
- 3 year Diploma or B Tech in Surveying with GIS as a subject
- 3 year Diploma in Geomatics with main stream surveying
- Must reside within the municipal area
- Must be between the ages of 21 and 35 years old
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a valid code EB driver’s license
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must have good communications skills, in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
- Must be able to work under pressure
