DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) along with VANSA is offering a skills development and art mentorship programme to female artists.
The RMB Talent Unlocked programme focuses on addressing professional practice and developing an artist's body of work by the means of mentorship.
The aim of the programme is to increase the artist's production of artwork, enhance their audience development, as well as teach them valuable skills such as proposal writing, financial management, and entrepreneurship. The established art mentors as well as many peers will also give the candidates feedback and critiques on their individual artwork. The programme encourages applicants who specialise in a variety of mediums to apply as the selection committee will focus primarily on a wide variety of artworks.
This year’s programme will take place at the Everard Read CIRCA Gallery curated showcase in Johannesburg, leading up to Women’s Day in August 2021.
