Pick n Pay is offering a 2023 SAICA Article Clerks/ SAICA Traineeship Opportunity. The position is open to determined, focused and dedicated individuals who wish to apply for a trainee position (Accounting articles) in the retail industry, whilst working towards their CA (SA) qualification.

Trainees will be exposed to the following, in order to achieve SAICA’s required competencies:
- Group reporting (preparing financial statements)
- Retail reporting (preparing management accounts)
- Capex and Treasury/ Insurance
- Small Enterprise Development
- Commercial-clothing
- Internal Audit
- Tax
- Supply chain
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be studying towards a CTA / PGDA / Honors degree
- Must complete your qualification by December 2022, to write ITC in January 2023
- Must be passionate about retail
- Must be keen to become a Pick n Pay future leader
- Must demonstrate professional values and attitudes
- Must be able to integrate acumen and technical competence with each area of the value creation process
