DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Thabazimbi, Limpopo
Northam Zondereinde is offering Work Integrated Learning opportunities to both internal and external graduates, who need workplace learning experience in order to graduate.
During the programme, learners will undergo work integrated learning that is aligned to their field of study and will be given a Fixed-Term Employment contract as well as a stipend/ allowance. This programme was made possible in line with Northam Zondereinde's Social and Labour Plan (SLP).
Work Integrated Learnership/ Experiential Training opportunities are available in the following fields:
- Accounting/ Finance
- Analytical Chemistry
- Communications/ Public Relations
- Environmental Management
- Management Studies
- Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Mineral Survey
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be studying towards a qualification within one of the above-mentioned fields
- Must be studying at an accredited South African University or University of Technology
- Must need workplace learning experience in order to graduate

Northam Zondereinde is a leading Platinum Group Metal (PGM) Mine located in the Limpopo Province, 40km from Thabazimbi on the outskirts of Pilanesburg and Waterberg Reserve. The Zondereinde mine produces more than 300 000 PGM ounces each year and achieves this annual goal by using the latest technology in its mining practices.
