The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is offering Graduate Internship opportunities, to unemployed South Africans University and TVET Colleges Graduates who have not received any work experience related to their qualification.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
  • Must be a graduate from a University or Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College
  • National Office, HRM&DS Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management
  • National Office, Finance Services Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Finance Management or Financial Accounting
  • National Office, Finance Services Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Logistics
  • National Office, Information Communication Technology Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
  • National Office, Office of the Executive Director Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Office Management and Technology
  • KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office: Durban Internship: must have completed a Bachelor of Technology in Forensic Science
  • Western Cape Provincial Office Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Gauteng Provincial Office: Johannesburg Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office: Durban Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Limpopo Provincial Office: Polokwane Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Northern Cape Provincial Office: Kimberly Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Free State Provincial Office: Bloemfontein Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Eastern Cape Provincial Office: East London Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Mpumalanga Provincial Office: Nelspruit Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • North West Provincial Office: Mahikeng Internship: must have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration or Management
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must NOT have received any exposed to work experience in your field of study/ qualification

ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE INTERNSHIP:

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is responsible for ensuring independent oversight over the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Municipal Police Services (MPS), and to conduct independent and impartial investigations of identified criminal offences allegedly committed by members of the SAPS and the MPS, and make appropriate recommendations.
