DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

First National Bank (FNB) is offering a Graduate Trainee/ Internship opportunity to final year students. The purpose of the programme is to train and develop the candidate’s necessary skills so that flourish in key roles within the business unit.
 

Key Performance Areas of the Programme:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered by solutions that are proactive, innovative, and appropriate
  • Ensuring that all responsibilities are performed by ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and updating/ reporting relevant information within the related role of learning
  • Ensuring that you participate in the innovation process of the business as well as contribute to it
  • Ensuring your participation in projects and knowledge sharing with the aim of increasing the skills required for both the career and role. This is done by ensuring all activities needed are executed successfully and efficiently
  • Ensuring the graduate development plan is managed by completing training assignments
  • Ensuring that you manage the graduate development plan by attending the training with the aim of increasing your own skills and competencies
  • Ensuring that you manage your own development to improve your skills
  • Demonstrating and displaying the values of the business

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be in your final year of studies at University
  • Must be studying towards a Degree in one of these fields: Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems or Commerce (Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics) (this is not a full list – other fields may also be considered)
  • Must currently be completing your final year of studies
